Micah the Ministry Monkey's Fun Bible Facts

Micah wants to share some very cool facts out of the Bible with all you kids out there because he thinks you will have fun learning about the Lord this way! He also wants to remind you to read your Bible every day!

more then two of most of the animals that were taken on the ark by Noah.
God's word says in Genesis chapter 7 verses 1-3:
"1 The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth."
So you see there were seven of some kinds of animals and two of other kinds of animals taken on the ark. Pretty cool, huh!
Fact 2: Did you know that in ancient times people gathered to celebrate the Lord God on Saturdays and not Sundays? It's true! When God created the Earth He did it really fast. It only took Him 6 days to make the whole universe! On the seventh day He rested. That is why on the seventh day (Saturday) people would gather to worship God! This What God's word says in Genesis 2 verses 2-3:
"2.
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on
the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
3. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested
from all His work which God had created and made."
Isn't God's word great! We can learn so many cool things!
